Job Description

About the role:

  • Supports with strategy implementation and business transformation initiatives based on end to end change management and communications tactics

  • Leads GQ change management activities, incl. communications across relevant internal and external communications channels

  • Creates comprehensive change management processes, stories, and comms plans to support GQ business transformation initiatives

How you will contribute:

GQ Communications & Change Management Responsibilities

  • Establish the necessary steps for change including change narratives content development, review, alignment and distribution

  • Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of change initiatives and communications efforts to evaluate their impact on the organization

  • Lead production of GQ Newsletter (develop and/or curate content, ensure stakeholder alignment, branding, distribution)

  • Look for opportunities to leverage DD&T in communications activities

  • Uses analytics for decisions on tactics prioritization

  • Manage Khoros for external social media engagement incl. analytics and dashboard monitoring

  • Manage enterprise/corporate smartsheet for GQ content

  • Participate at relevant global corporate communities of practice as necessary

  • Support with major events milestones (e.g. annual GQ Summit, GMS&GQ conference)

  • Any other responsibilities as assigned by Head of Communications and based on business needs

Dimensions and Aspects

Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  • Familiarity with various change management frameworks and methodologies (e.g. Kotter 8-Step Process) to guide and structure change initiatives effectively

  • Experience using SharePoint and latest technology digital collaboration tools, comfortable with exploring and experimenting with gen AI tools to manage communications

  • Experience with measurement/metrics tools

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Comfortable with stakeholder management across all levels in the organization

  • Experience with video creation, graphic design, editorial

  • Experience with leading or supporting major transformational initiatives that require integrated change management and communications program and tactics

  • Effective storyteller who leverages best-in-class techniques to interpret data, build trust and connect with stakeholders

  • Strong business acumen with sound understanding of business context and implications for communications

  • Demonstrate agility and adaptability in managing change, evolving and/or conflicting priorities, able to deliver within set timelines

  • Calm and composed under time pressure, able to focus on the most important priorities for the business

  • Proactive approach within a mindset of continuous improvement, leveraging best practice from across the business, and opportunities provided by technology

  • Impeccable stakeholder management skills, enabling smooth collaborations across the business

  • Demonstrate mindset of continuous learning, staying curious and abreast of new trends, and is able to manage within ambiguity

  • Knows when to escalate and/or work independently

  • Proactive in seeking opportunities for elevating capabilities across teams

  • Work seamlessly with key stakeholders and groups (e.g. GMS Comms, Site Communicators, SBO network)

  • Global corporate communities of practice leveraging own expertise and learning from others, bringing learning or good practice to own work

  • Comfortable and proactive with new technologies, digital collaboration tools and gen AI for comms and change management

  • Explore and propose innovative approaches for communications

What you bring to Takeda:

Education / experience

  • Higher education in Communications, Marketing or related field

    • 7 years professional experience in Change Management or Communications, in multicultural, international settings
  • Experience with SharePoint, analytics and KPI setting, using data for decision making

  • Organizational and project management skills
