Database Lifecycle Management is a new cloud native service, providing a comprehensive solution for DBAs to automate the process required to manage the Oracle Database
Lifecycle. It eliminates manual and time consuming tasks related to security compliance, patching and configuration management.
About You
This opening is for a full stack software engineer in the Database Lifecycle Management cloud service. You will work with a fast-growing, action-oriented team of software engineers, test automation engineers, product managers and UX designers to build out new service. As a team, we use Agile methodologies to self-organize and deliver value at a rapid pace.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of experience in software development environment
Proficient in Java/J2EE, REST services and SQL
Familiarity and understanding of cloud-based development platforms
Experience in developing UI pages using modern JS libraries such as Angular, React, etc.
Prior cloud devops exposure is a huge plus
Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, or related field

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences
Experienced with multiple software development methodologies, with an emphasis and passion for Agile

Comfortable and effective in internal and external-facing scenarios
A can-do attitude with a willingness to take on challenging tasks and the ability to multitask effectively across multiple areas of responsibilities

Detailed Description and Job Requirements - External
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes, and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
