Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and team-oriented Press Tech Associate to join our stamping press team. This role is essential in the operation of our precision stamping and pressing machines, where you will work alongside a team of 3 to 8 people, depending on the product and job requirements.
Responsibilities
Operate and assist in the setup of stamping presses to form and bend metal to precise tolerances.
Pick up and place materials as part of the production process, occupying 80% of the work time.
Participate in quality training to learn the basics of micrometers, calipers, measuring angles, and logging in and out of IFS.
Progress to running various presses and cell areas as needed.
Read work orders and blueprints to set up dies and tools on machinery.
Troubleshoot machinery issues, perform first part inspections, and ensure accurate pressing operations.
Develop mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills through hands-on experience.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic manufacturing environment where temperature varies with seasons. The facility operates on multiple shifts, including a 2nd shift from 4:20 pm to 2:50 am, Monday to Thursday. Safety is prioritized, requiring steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection. The environment can be loud, and teamwork is essential, as tasks may include both independent work and collaboration. Flexibility is key, as job assignments may change frequently.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.35 - $19.35/hr.
