DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Room Attendant for High Hotels LTD., you will be responsible for performing routine duties to ensure the high standards of cleanliness and service for the hotel and the brand are met. Room Attendants should take pride in providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the hotel guest rooms and common areas are properly cleaned and maintained. Room Attendant team members could spend their days in various areas of the housekeeping department including laundry, common area cleaning and room cleaning.

This position will be primarily located at the Home2 Suites on Pauline Drive in York, PA.

This position is Full-Time (5 days per week) with split responsibilities between Laundry and Housekeeping. This individual will work in Laundry on Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The remaining two days will be spent performing Room Attendant responsibilities.

Hours are as follows: 8:00AM-4:30PM on weekdays & 9:00AM-5:30PM on weekends.

Must have availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

*Please Note: shift end times will vary based on occupancy rate and workload.

Weekends include a $2/hr. shift premium!

Starting Rate: $16.00/hr. - $17.00/hr. depending upon experience.

Areas of responsibility for our Laundry/Room Attendants include: * Providing a constant supply of clean linens for the entire hotel. * Pre-sorting linens and treating stains. * Recording counts for discarded linens. * Loading and operating commercial washers and dryers per established procedures. * Washing all towels and linens in accordance to company standards. * Folding and distributing towels and linens. * Maintaining a clean and safe laundry room. * Stocking linen storage rooms as assigned * Cleaning the guest rooms and common areas according to brand standards in the allotted amount of time. * Vacuuming carpet and furniture. * Cleaning and dusting furniture. * Cleaning kitchenettes and washing the dishes in suites. * Changing bed linens. * Cleaning the guest room bathroom. * Cleaning high touch areas of the hotel to meet brand standards. * Maintaining the linen cart and ensuring supplies are neatly organized. * Ensuring security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.

Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications: * A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred. * The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. * The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs. * The ability to work in both a team environment and independently. * The ability to support our sister property - the Home2 Suites. * Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
