Robert Half Accounts Payable - Staff Accountant in Yardley, Pennsylvania
Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable - Staff Accountant to become a part of our team. Based in Yardley, Pennsylvania, this role involves handling a variety of tasks related to accounts payable and accounting within our industry.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently receive and manage a high volume of invoices through various email channels
• Categorize and sort invoices accurately for multiple locations within the organization
• Handle the coding of invoices and apply use tax where necessary
• Manually input invoices into our accounting software
• Generate weekly check registers, issue payments, and reconcile to the general ledger
• Prepare monthly AP aging reconciliations
• Maintain use tax logs and file returns for multiple states
• Address vendor and internal AP inquiries
• Reconcile Amex and VISA credit cards and examine credit card transactions for use tax transactions
• Create monthly accruals and intercompany journal entries when required
• Provide support for audit requests and uphold standard operating procedures
• Work closely with various team members across the organization
• Carry out ad hoc reporting duties. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Experience with General Ledger management
• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries
• Practical knowledge of NetSuite software
• Demonstrated skills in Account Reconciliation
• Experience in Credit Card Reconciliation
• Ability to handle High-Volume Data Entry efficiently and accurately
