Children's Village in Yakima provides comprehensive care for children with special healthcare needs and their families. Our services include autism diagnostics, behavioral health, developmental screenings, pediatric dentistry, occupational and speech therapy, mental health counseling, early support for infants and toddlers, medical specialty clinics, and parent support programs. What You'll Do:

  • Complete intake assessment, develop individualized program exemplars and participate in the collection of data for a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)/Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA).

  • Collect target behavior data and implement Behavior Reduction Protocols and alternative behavior programs based on the FBA.

  • Implement individualized programs to maintain and generalize acquired skills, provide appropriate interventions, and respond to aggressive and/or challenging behaviors.

  • Participate in meetings to develop cross-system planning and/or collaborate with treatment professionals.

  • Collaborate with other Certified Behavior Technicians to improve individual services.

  • Complete all required documentation for Behavioral Health Services (BHS) and/or funder.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Perform clinical responsibilities in alignment with The Joint Commission (TJC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and YVFWC requirements.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree in any field required; Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Analysis, Developmental Psychology, Special Education, or other relevant field preferred

Experience working with individuals with ASD and/or developmental disabilities preferred

Application for Certified Behavior Technician within one week of completing 40 hours of required supervision/trainin
