POSITION SUMMARY The Commissioning Technician focuses on ensuring that new or upgraded Fire Truck equipment, machinery, and systems function correctly and safely, meeting specifications and project requirements. This role involves testing, adjusting, calibrating, and troubleshooting various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to prepare them for operational use. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS All employees are required to support Rosenbauer s Mission, Vision, and Values. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer. Performing pre-commissioning checks, visual inspections, and functional tests to verify equipment installation and operation. Commission hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical Systems by using Rosenbauer Service Tool and other System specific Tool and Software. Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic systems and electrical Systems on Fire Trucks to find root cause of issues. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues related to hydraulics, pneumatics or electronics. Maintaining detailed records of commissioning activities, including test results, adjustments, and troubleshooting steps. Working closely with engineers, project managers, and other technicians to ensure smooth commissioning processes. Assists in training and guiding employees on troubleshooting, repairs, and service work on complex assemblies. Adjusting and calibrating equipment components to achieve optimal performance and accuracy. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company. Tools to be utilized: Hand tools, power tools, grinders, cut off wheel, and tape measure.
