Actalent Electrical Engineer in Wyoming, Michigan
Actalent is looking to hire a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team!
Description:
• 6+ years of expertise in automotive Electrical System Design and Development
• Leads team, delegates work (internal & external) to ensure projects are appropriately staffed and milestones are achieved, prioritizes activities, and fosters vision for the electrical team.
• Guide team on providing technical expertise; advise on best solutions and recommendations in design. Layouts, schematics, wire harness design, electrical control, procurement of parts.
• Experience with SolidWorks design software.
• Maintain knowledge of all applicable codes, safety requirements, and other standards.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed at expected quality, within budget, and on schedule.
• Prepare reports and communicate project status updates to leadership, and internal clients.
• Lead engineering team by leveraging strengths and helping achieve goals/deadlines.
• Prepare, review, and approve technical reports, coordinate design with all other disciplines.
• Support/prepare working drawings and specifications; perform detailed calculations for complex projects.
• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times.
• Assist leadership with executing the strategic initiatives of the firm and sharing ideas for improvement on implementation.
