We are looking for a detail oriented Route Accounting Supervisor who can oversee the branch settlement department, cash application and the reconciliation of accounts receivable. The ideal candidate is someone who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They must possess strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. They should be comfortable interfacing with Sales, Operations and Finance departments to resolve issues and assure that customer transactions are accurately completed.

Your Main Focus Will Be:

  • Supervise Route Settlement Clerks.

  • Identify checks received and determine application to account

  • Input of all daily cash receipts

  • Reconciliation of accounts and prepare adjustments to open items.

  • Prepare spreadsheet of adjustments forwarded to the Bronx

  • Interface with sales, operations and finance department to resolve issues and assure that customer transactions are accurately completed.

  • Collection of money from sales personnel on account.

  • Gather and prepare all route accounting paperwork for timely and accurate entry.

  • Accurate input of all paperwork as it relates to driver’s settlement.

  • Prepare/review all department logs

Position Requirements:

  • Degree desired.

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in credit and settlement experience.

  • Supervisory experience.

  • Ability to work Tuesday-Saturday

  • Flexibility to work alternating shifts (11:00 am/2:00 pm start times)

  • Valid Driver's License Required

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

  • Determination/commitment to completing tasks thoroughly.

  • Exhibits sound judgment and common sense.

    Salary: $65,000.00-$70,000.00

    It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
