Job Description

The Sourcing Project Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and facilitating Procurement Projects.

At the same time, he/she will also take charge of certain category/supplier responsibility.

Job Responsibilities

Material Saving: End-to-end responsibility in the delivery of cost saving projects with all project levers by ensuring that projects are managed properly and meeting all expectations.

Strategic and Risk Mitigation projects: End-to-end responsibility in the delivery of dual source, localization and other risk mitigation projects, by ensuring that projects are managed properly and meeting all expectations.

NPD / Innovation Support: End- to- end responsibility in the delivery of NPD projects, or supporting projects managing and coordinating procurement activities.

Business Case Development: Create sound business cases with a Total Cost of Ownership mindset. Get them presented to and approved by the business, business cases can be created by Category Managers as well and handed over to SPM.

Pipeline: Participate/support cost saving pipeline/workshop for resource, technical and process levers.

Capex / investments: Control capex / investments in the projects.

Project Leadership: Lead cross function project team and facilitate project progress and ensure team's result and output.

System Compliance: IATF standards and procedures compliance, Danfoss Procurement toolbox, Business Award process.

Strong interfaces to other functions

IA: Ensure availability of LOI/ Interim Agreement for all critical projects.

Liaison: Effective and proactive liaison with other relevant functions/departments to identify and implement projects and other relevant purchasing activities.

Background & Skills

Minimum requirements to educational background

Bachelor Degree

Minimum requirements to working experience

3-5 years of procurement related experience from a manufacturing industry

Experience with project management

Experience with stakeholder Management(influence others, communication)

Experience with communication skill

Essential personal characteristics

Strong team player with good people skills and a good ability to impact different stakeholders on different levels in the organization

Has a high personal drive and is result oriented

Proactive approach

English at fluent spoken and standard written expression
