What you’ll do
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable software solutions that adhere to industry best practices and compliance standards.
Lead the implementation of data integration solutions using Java and Spring Boot technologies.
Architect and build Big Data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform, leveraging Java programming expertise.
Ensure the security, integrity, and performance of all software applications through rigorous testing and optimization.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
Skills and experiences:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a focus on Java programming and data integration.
Proven expertise in building scalable, high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Extensive experience working with Big Data technologies, particularly on the Google Cloud Platform.
Strong understanding of data governance principles and compliance standards within the financial services industry.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Nice to have:
Experience working in the financial services industry, particularly within a banking environment.
Certification in Google Cloud Platform or related technologies.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
