​We are currently looking for exceptional Senior Business Analyst to join a fast growing team. Key services to be provided in this role in support of the Business Planning and Analysis organization in Europe located in Headquarter (Switzerland, Eysins) for key BD businesses in the area of medical devices and/or services. The Person on a Business Analyst position will be responsible for supporting Business Controller and Finance Business Partner within specific Business Segment in building & reviewing quarterly financial forecasts and budget (bottom-up), standard reporting for all planning cycles and month end close.

Additionally, the objectives of this role are:

  • Coordination with Country analysts to ensure timely and accurate forecasting/budgeting process

  • Support of Finance Business Partner with variances analysis (Month End Close), including supporting commentary

  • Data mining and report generation (standard reporting, ad-hoc)

  • Work with large data sets from disparate sources to understand linkages, able to consolidate data quickly, discover & explain gaps etc.

  • Producing and highlighting trends in data & performance analysis (sales)

The Business Senior Analyst role includes also responsibilities related to:

  • Supporting Business Controller in the Finance organization, working closely with Finance Business Partners in a partner location (France)

  • Participation in project activities at different stages of implementation (reporting tools development & testing)

  • Ensuring standardization in processes performed (Forecasting, Month End Close, Budgeting, Strategic Planning) and working as a Team to continuously improve the service levels (KPI’s)

The successful candidate will have as an minimum two years’ experience in working management accountant / business planning role or in a large international business environment within a matrix organization and Bachelor / Master Degree in Finance or related field (Accounting / Controlling). Fluent English (additional Language skills are of benefit) and excellent expertise level in Excel is a must.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with business intelligence tools, is comfortable accessing and working with big data from multiple sources, able to think big while paying careful attention to detail, enjoy the challenge of data complexity, recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis (i.a. data integrity, validation).

Additionally, to the above skills we would be ideally looking for: ​ ​

  • Very strong technical skills: system / reporting tools knowledge (BW, Power BI, SAP BPC Revenue Planning), excel at expertise level and ability to deal with a lot of data.

  • Very good analytical skills & presentation skills

  • Flexibility and Adaptability in changing environments

  • Organized, structured and good relationship skillsets

  • Pro-active and forward looking to ensure deliverables received on time to ensure timely regional consolidation of country data

  • Strong understanding and application of corporate finance tools, techniques and analysis, as well as forecasting, budgeting and planning techniques

  • Commitment to Teamwork and co-operation and sharing of information
