Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled GCP Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a background in SAP financials. This role involves developing and implementing new solutions, interfacing with various tools, and ensuring secure handling of sensitive data.
Key Responsibilities:
Big Query & Big Data: Utilize Big Query and Big Data technologies to manage and analyze large datasets.
SAP Financials: Understand and read SAP financial tables to regenerate reports in GCP.
Documentation: Document processes and solutions, ensuring comprehensive and clear documentation.
Interface with SAC: Integrate and interface with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting purposes.
ThoughtSpot Integration: Leverage ThoughtSpot's AI capabilities to enhance data querying and analysis, utilizing Python for backend processes.
POC Operations: Operate on Proof of Concept (POC) projects, each lasting 90 days, focusing on new development.
Teams Collaboration: Participate in Teams calls to perform specific data extraction tasks as requested.
Client Profitability Recovery: Manage applications related to client profitability recovery, ensuring efficient handling of trashed products returned to stores.
Data Security: Ensure columns containing PII, PHI, and PCI data are secure, collaborating with the security team.

Skills and Requirements
Experience: 3-5 years of experience with GCP.
Skills:
Proficiency in Big Query, Big Data, and GCP.
Background in SAP financials.
Strong documentation skills.
Experience with SAC and ThoughtSpot.
Ability to operate on POC projects.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Security Knowledge: Understanding of PII, PHI, and PCI data security requirements. Heavy background with SAP to understand different reporting and infrastructure that is already existing null
