The HRIS Consultant is responsible for managing Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) across Direct Care and Treatment with a focus on HR system configuration, maintenance, implementing process improvements, ensuring data quality, analyzing and reporting on data, and dashboard creation. This position provides essential HRIS support to meet the needs of the HR department across all functional areas along with business area needs. This role collaborates as subject matter expert with the HR Operations Director and other stakeholders to design and deliver technical solutions that support the department’s and agency's business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
Two (2) years of human resources experience supporting a HRIS system, managing projects and implementing project initiatives within a large organization.
Experience must demonstrate:
Advanced skills in using the MS Office software suite sufficient to create and adapt spreadsheets and databases, and develop and modify complex word processing documents.
Skills in utilizing an HRIS in large organization, preferably PeopleSoft or similar HRIS.
Proficiency with the use and management of databases statistical analysis and data reporting/visualization, using software including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, SPSS or Power BI).
Experience in data reporting and management using MS Access, OBIEE, Crystal Reports or similar database reporting software sufficient to create and modify complex management reports.
Ability to synthesize and interpret data and communicate results.
Demonstrated competence in written communication sufficient to define and document technical data and write reports as needed.
Excellent customer service skills are important to the position in order to serve the customer in a positive, courteous, and efficient manner.
Demonstrated ability to work within a team; be amenable to cross-training and build good working relationships with other staff.
Communication skills sufficient to deliver complex concepts effectively to diver audiences, both in writing and orally.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information technology or a related field may substitute for 1 year experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in data reporting and management within a government agency.
Experience using Tableau software.
Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
