Plymouth Rock Assurance Affinity Marketing Manager in Woodbridge, New Jersey

As the Affinity Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for growing the customer base of three key segments of our business by driving strategy that influences critical parts of the customer journey. The three key segments focus around offers of insurance for educators, motorcycle riders and members of various affinity partnership groups. The overarching goals of the role are as follows: building top of funnel branding and awareness, managing customer acquisition strategy and elevating customer satisfaction. A successful candidate will have proven experience developing and optimizing multi-channel programs that drive acquisition, foster engagement, and minimize churn. We are seeking a strategic thinker, with the ability to clearly articulate vision and implement plans. The ideal candidate will be highly data-driven and able to manage both strategic plans and hands on execution.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Development and execution of integrated strategic marketing campaigns around the customer journey/experience including:

  • Digital marketing (display, paid search, social media, audience targeting capabilities)

  • Email campaigns

  • Direct mail

  • Project management and implementation including collaborating with creative teams and reviewing marketing materials for alignment around campaign objectives

  • Management of organic social channels

  • Expense management and budgeting of campaigns

  • Planning and coordination of events as needed within budget parameters

  • Collaborate with internal analytics teams to monitor and optimize business KPI’s associated with these 3 product segments

  • Reports to the Director of Marketing Operations

Qualifications and Education

  • 3-4+ years of experience managing direct to consumer acquisition campaigns

  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, behavior and consumer insights Proven ability to implement and understand marketing campaign results and attribution

  • Experience in marketing automation strategy

  • Highly data driven and analytical with a test-and-learn mindset and the ability to turn learnings into actions to improve performance

  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving abilities, strong project management and analytical skills, as well as the ability to think out of the box and implement creative solutions

  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior management, supervisor, peers and business partners

  • Proactive team player with an ability to work independently

  • Detail orientated, able to multi-task and prioritize, collaborative, positive attitude, aptitude to learn, excellent verbal and written skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred

  • Prior insurance experience a plus

  • Familiarity with the educational space and/or motorcycles a plus
