Veralto Senior Director, Procurement & Supply Chain Management in Wood Dale, Illinois

About the role:

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Senior Director of Global Procurement & Supply Chain Management. This pivotal position involves spearheading global procurement efforts, strategically sourcing components, materials, and services, and leading a diverse team towards achieving set objectives. This role is additionally responsible for providing leadership to the Global Trade Compliance team within Videojet. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Operations, this role is based in Wood Dale, IL, requiring a minimum on-site presence of three days per week. In this role, you will:

  • Lead a team to consistently achieve or surpass annual cost-saving goals, while ensuring On-Time Delivery (OTD), inventory management, and other agreed-upon objectives are met.

  • Operate at a senior level with a high level of autonomy, while also coaching, mentoring, and fostering the development of a globally effective team. This team will deliver cost-effective solutions across all global sites and subsidiaries of Videojet.

  • Recruit, staff, and develop a high-performing and motivated team responsible for interfacing with both business and supplier partners. Additionally, ensure that a trained staff is in place, and new SOPs based on standard work are implemented, and followed consistent with the current global regulatory requirements for import and export.

  • Define and implement procurement strategies based on comprehensive demand, market, and supplier analysis. These strategies will ensure long-term, cost-efficient, and reliable on-time supply of materials meeting required quality standards.

  • Ensure the team implements optimized concepts for supply chains, taking into consideration factors such as cost, risks, resources, inventory turnover, and time. The aim is to improve supply chain efficiency and minimize Non-Conformance Costs.

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures based on standard work that support and respond to governing international trade policies to ensure full compliance with US and international regulations regarding import and export of goods and services.

Are you qualified?

  • Minimum of 8-10 years in Procurement and Supply Chain Management with at least 5 years of senior management (Sr. Manager or Director)

  • BS degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar discipline

  • Experience and detailed knowledge of commercial terms, regulations and instruments associated with supply chain / procurement / logistics / trade compliance.

  • Financial acumen and demonstrated aptitude in analytics and decision-making.

  • Ability to travel 20-30%, with some international travel.
