WITHIN YOUR TEAM

North America Finance Director of Videojet is responsible for delivering business performance for a $350M business.

IN THIS ROLE ON A TYPICAL DAY YOU WILL:

Act as key business partner with NA Commercial Leader. They will collaborate to highlight key takeaways from financial analysis, share business insights, create, build, and execute annual plans and monthly forecasts. This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen business analytics, bring in process improvements and create a strong finance team for NA region. This role is also responsible to ensure compliance with company financial policies and processes and timely and accurate financial reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a strong business partner for NA regional VP and NA functional leaders to support them in driving sustainable profitable business growth, share insights on business issues and work on actionable countermeasures with them

  • Lead, supervise, coach and develop a strong NA FP&A and AR Management team

  • Create and execute annual business plan identifying and quantifying growth drivers, creating bridges for better understanding of growth, standard margins, operating expenses, profitability and working capital

  • Strengthen business analytics through creating segmented profitability by business, product technologies, channels and detailed analysis of operating expenses; Analyze and monitor return on planned investments – headcount and systems

  • Identify and drive initiatives to save costs, plug cost leakages and manage operating expenses within plan/ budget, drive indirect spending actions to deliver targeted annual savings

  • Delivering working capital targets - DSO and commercial Inventory through improved processes on managing past due AR %, term improvement and service inventory; create standard work on AR management with the team and build on DSO playbook

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in finance functions including accounting, costing and/or FP&A, with 5+ years in FP&A roles

  • MBA in finance or accounting preferred

  • Experiences in comprehensive P&L and working capital management.

  • Strong business understanding and acumen; Proficiency in financial analysis; able to identify variations and trends that indicate possible exposures and the need for countermeasures

  • Created and/ or supported creating commission structures and schemes for matrix organization within revenue sharing teams

  • Has exposure to leading business indicators (like stage wise funnel, hit/win ratio) and linking various business segments

  • Demonstrated track record of business partnering skills in a matrix organization.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to serve as a business partner

  • Use of financial reporting tools such as Hyperion, Navision, Oracle and Excel to improve productivity in providing timely and accurate financial statements.
