SUMMARY: The Network Administrator will work as a team member to design, deploy, oversee, and support a 60 plus site network infrastructure which has been created using Cisco and FortiGate products. This will include but is not limited to installing hardware and software, deploying application infrastructure, and supporting cloud and on premises infrastructure. We are looking for a hands on Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure, and efficient on premises and cloud switch, router, firewall, and WIFI infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration of FortiGate SD Wan and Cisco LAN.

  • Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade network environments across multiple locations on premise and in the cloud.

  • Install and integrate new switches, routers, firewalls, and applications

  • Provide analysis for needed system updates

  • Hands on experience managing and administering Cisco VoIP (Call Manager and Unity) and cloud hosted voice environments.

  • Ensure network security and connectivity.

  • Monitor environment performance.

  • Set up administrator accounts, permissions, and access where required.

  • Resolve problems reported by end users and remote admins.

  • Define network related policies and procedures.

  • Specify WAN LAN infrastructure requirements and design solutions.

  • Research and make recommendations on environment administration.

  • Cross-Train other technical team members.

  • Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams

  • Willingness to travel to multiple remote site locations

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. An Administrator should have knowledge of computers, routers, firewall, and switches, among others, for performing maintenance of the network and upgrading the system, including patches, service packs, security configurations, hot fixes and disaster recovery. They must be capable of acquiring more knowledge by continuing education or through other avenues. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Network Administrator role.

  • Hands-on experience with Fortigate SD-WAN solution.

  • Previous experience administrating SD-WAN networks.

  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of Cisco/Fortigate infrastructure.

  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP and LAN/WAN technologies, expertise with general routing/switching, routing protocols like EIGRP, BGP, and MPLS, branch and Datacenter Architectures.

  • Experience with hybrid network design\administration, on-prem and cloud environments like Azure and AWS

  • Working knowledge of Cisco ISE environments.

  • Configuration and monitoring of Cisco WIFI networks.

  • Ability to set up and configure hardware connections to different WAN technologies.

  • Experience in configuration of FortiGate SD-Wan routers and Cisco switches to support a multi - VLAN, environment.

  • Great at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or 5 years' work experience in CISCO and other related network technologies

  • Training of users in the proper use of company computer technology.

  • Experience working in Windows and VMware environments
