About the role:

Technicians provide fast and useful technical assistance to resolve Videojet (VTI) associate’s technical issues. They must have strong communication and technical skills to be able to understand, relate and resolve technical issues. They must be customer focused and patient in difficult situations. They resolve technical issues that are escalated for VTI associates that require elevated technical skillsets to resolve.

Within your role, you will:

  • Serve as first point of contact for VTI associate seeking resolution to technical issues

  • Perform troubleshooting to identify and then correct user requests within SLA

  • Record user requests, troubleshooting and corrective actions within the VTI Information Technology Service Management (“ITSM”) tool

  • Provide on-site and remote support to VTI associates

  • Follow and adhere to VTI standard work, policies and procedures

  • Other duties as assigned

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Windows 10 workstation installation and administration required

  • Experience troubleshooting both hardware and software. Including MS product and Anti-Virus software

  • SCCM experience required

  • Active Directory (“AD”) experience required

  • High-School degree or equivalent and 3 years technical support experience preferred

  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
