In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide a high level of support to our Mortgage Underwriters. Ensuring that the daily activities in the Underwriting team are processed and administered correctly and in line with agreed SLAs. No two days are the same in this role, with a varied and interesting workload you will gain exposure to the mortgage lifecycle whilst working with a supportive and well established team.

Your responsibilities will include…

  • To aid in the administration of a busy underwriting department and assist the Underwriters in providing an excellent service to Mortgage Brokers.

  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post.

  • Posting and emailing Mortgage Offers to Customers and Solicitors.

  • Undertaking data entry for portfolio applications.

  • Performing practical administrative tasks, such as scanning and checking that documents are allocated correctly.

  • Providing a consistently high quality of customer service to both external and internal customers.

We offer a base salary of £19,500 and a competitive benefits package including:

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • GSCE/GCE qualifications in both Maths and English are essential.

  • Attention to detail is essential.

  • The ability to manage and organise workloads is essential.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (in particular Word and Excel) is essential.
