Job Description:
Selected team member for the RF SOI IC Design Engineer position at various location of Skyworks, San Jose, CA (preferred), Woburn or Andover, MA; Irvine, CA. We are seeking engineering talents with expertise in developing RF/Microwave RF SOI IC design expertise in the concept, design, integration, and delivery of complex multi-chip, multi-technology RFIC-based wireless module solutions. In this Module Design Team, you will be participating in developing cutting-edge, state-of-the-art PA, RF switches, LNAs and front-end modules for Automotive and IoT applications to enable the industry transformation to next generation super data highway.
Job Responsibilities:
Architecture, develop, verify, and productize SOI IC in module solutions
Chip Level planning, design and tape-out schedule management
Management of design trade-offs in cost, risk, and performance
Lead and guide activities across multiple functions, such as layout, verification, test, and manufacturing
Job Requirements:
Hands on design experience in a variety of high-performance Analog and RF products
In-depth RF design experience, such as switch and LNA, in SOI with Cadence and ADS
Expertise with at least one major EM tool for full IC + module level simulation
Strong understanding of IC design flow, full life-cycle experience on multiple products
Knowledge of digital communication systems
Good communication and leadership skills
This is a technical leadership role across multiple teams
Min MSEE + 10 years of experience
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $136,800 - $271,500 per year per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
