Sugino Corp Application Engineer in Wixom, Michigan
- Work with product engineers to ensure a cost-effective solution for each customer's specific needs for proprietary equipment.
- Facilitate to finish developing project proposals handling technical specifications to cost estimation per customer's requirements and supervision of the Engineering Manager.
- On-site control system modifications and tuning.
- Provide improvement and changes to PLCs to meet changing customer needs.
- Provide the best cleaning/washing techniques to the customer through performance testing. Provide field service/advice work to the customer.
- Control configuration optimization.
- Perform any preventative maintenance as requested by the customer to ensure optimum operation and a minimum down time of machines and equipment.
- Perform emergency service at the customer's locations as needed to ensure the full functionality of company's proprietary equipment.
- Provide required service documentation relating to all functions performed.
- Provide support and training to other Service Technicians and/or Engineers in the department. Set-up and perform in house demonstrations and tests.
- Identifies and troubleshoots reported issues and provides technical support as needed.
- Travel requirement: less than 5% with locations varying.
