Salary of £55,000 - £57,500 per annum plus potential bonus + fantastic benefits
Work Pattern – 2 days / 2 nights / 4 off
Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Engineering Manager, to join our team based at our Nestlé Purina site in Wisbech. Driving continuous improvement through Nestle Continuous Excellence foundations and Total Performance Management.

A day in the life of a Shift Engineering Manager
As the Shift Engineering Manager, you will report to the Reliability Maintenance Manager and be responsible for leading the Shift Engineering team through preventative maintenance methodologies in accordance with the site Operational Master Plan.
Other responsibilities will include:
Drive continuous improvements using TPM in the key operational business processes throughout manufacturing and empowering and inspiring people by supporting the line team and developing their capability.
Contribute to sustainably meet the Factory strategy targets in order to accelerate the business ambition.
Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with local laws, SHE and Quality standards by identifying risks associated to activities within zone and ensure reactive incidents are managed and resolved or escalated. Strive for zero unsafe conditions and behaviours to achieve zero accidents.
Support Engineering on unplanned stops root cause and resolution.
Support and execute identified planned maintenance tasks. Liaise with support departments and use their resources to make necessary changes.
Effectively manage the Shift Operational Review and the Autonomous Working Group (AWG).
Adopt and nurture a working style which actively involves and motivates colleagues, promoting an environment of continuous improvement and excellence.
Develop organisational capability by supporting and co-ordinating in the transfer and enhancement of skills through coaching others and share current best practice within the team.

Other experiences and attributes would include:
Qualified to NVQ level 3/City & Guilds with Electrical/Mechanical Bias or equivalent.
Ability to motivate, influence and coach through having strong interpersonal skills.
Naturally able to lead, challenge and build capability.
Ability to communicate across all levels and work on own initiative.
Strong understanding of continuous improvement and problem-solving methodology such as DMAIC, RCA.
