Job Title: Tig Welder
Up to $33/hr
Job Description
As a Tig Welder, you will be responsible for performing TIG welding and assembly of various types of process equipment for the food industry. The equipment is made of stainless food-grade material.
Essential Skills/Responsibilities
Tig Welding (80%) and assembly (20%) of process equipment for the food industry.
Weld and assemble pipes and pipe parts in acid-resistant stainless steel.
TIG welding (pulsating), both manual and mechanized.
Tig Welding experience or relevant degree.
Experience with stainless steel welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Familiarity with food-grade welding standards.
Knowledge of weld symbols.
Comfortable working in confined spaces.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Willingness to learn and maintain a positive attitude.
Ability to pass a weld test in the 6g position on 2 1/2" sch 40 pipe with a 45-degree bevel.
Ability to perform root, fill, and cover passes with full penetration and without undercut.
Experience with fillet welds on T-plates and small diameter tubing (less than 3/8" but more than 1/4").

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
