Job Description IT Business Analyst 212 W 2nd St, Winona, MN 55987 HEADD Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 8:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Work with stakeholders and developers to translate requirements into functional and technical design documents, and to ensure that the applications developed are meeting those requirements by creating functional, unit and volume tests. Work with end users to define and clarify business objectives. Position includes working with 3rd party applications and in-house custom software, as well as providing non-technical suggestions for solving business process issues. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Prioritizing issues with business and development teams o Documenting and communicating business process flows o Creating functional design documents o Designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures o Testing system modifications to prepare for implementation o Developing and executing manual and automated test scripts o Ensuring training is sufficient and communicating deployment information to stakeholders o Providing high quality application support REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The skills and qualifications required for this position include: o Possess a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, English or a related field OR prior experience as a Business Analyst or related IT work experience o Strong understanding of financial business processes and requirements o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient computer skills o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Work independently as well as in a team environment o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Ability to pass the required drug screen and background check.
