Position Summary:

Responsible for providing accurate and timely processing of assigned tasks and ensuring that exceptional support is provided to the banks for all items processing and deposit operations services.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Perform daily back-office operation functions to ensure accurate and timely processing and verification of operational duties and support to the subsidiary banks.
  2. Core and Image Application processing, front start of day to end of day processing, including but not limited to CIF 20/20, 4Sight Image, Incoming Cash Letter processing, Outgoing Cash Letter creation and submission.
  3. Statement processing, e-statement and outsourced print statement notice file transmissions.
  4. Responsible for timely handling of non-post items and stop payment requests.
  5. Responsible for handling NSF / Overdraft Processing including returns and notifications.
  6. Assist with daily tasks of any Overdraft Programs the banks maintain.
  7. Assist with processing Charge Off Accounts due to OD Privilege and assist as needed with other Charge Off Accounts.
  8. Process Chargebacks (RDIs).
  9. Process any customer/Fed adjustments related to customer accounts.
  10. Daily balancing of GL Applications, official check reconciliations, any other reconciliations related to deposit accounts.
  11. Responsible for printing of daily notices, CD Interest checks, IRA Distribution checks, Safe Deposit Box notices and any other notices or letters related to deposit accounts.
  12. Process incoming foreign items for consumer and commercial customers.
  13. Process customer foreign currency purchases and sells.
  14. Input and account maintenance as related to ACH/AFT/Sweeps.
  15. Rate changes as related to deposit accounts.
  16. Assist with CD/IRA renewal and redemptions for subsidiary banks.
  17. File transfer processing including credit bureau reporting, child support match, and OFAC.
  18. Provide support to subsidiary banks for any other deposit related functions.
  19. Maintains quality control of items processing and deposit operations functions for maximum results.
  20. Provide backup to other Deposit Shared Services departments as needed.
  21. Assist with the development and implementation of necessary training and operational support programs for subsidiary banks and other operational groups as identified.
  22. Assist with corporate and departmental projects as assigned.
  23. Assist with gathering and reviewing related audit documentation, copies and reports as requested.
  24. Participate in team tasks, alternate schedules to support extended banking hours, and assist in answering phone calls and emails.
  25. Identify and update all associated job aids when changes in process or policy occur and communicate these changes to the team.
  26. Maintain strict confidentiality of all customer records and personal information.
  27. Maintain compliance with and adhere to all state and federal regulations and bank policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Bank ecrecy Act, FACT ACT, Community Reinvestment Act, and EEO/AA/Fair Employment Practices.
  28. Perform other duties as assigned.
