Lowe's BDC Support Specialist in Winlock, Washington

What You Will Do

The Bulk Distribution Center Specialist is responsible for assisting with the support of a third-party logistics operated Bulk Distribution Center. The specialist is the primary point of contact for stores and the BDC via phone and email relating to product inquiries, special order sales, inventory on-hand inquiries, etc. The specialist is responsible for formulating daily/weekly reporting, monitoring special order sales execution and exceptions, processing store/BDC damage claims, processing receipts/shipments in HOST and PO Direct and responding to inquiries in the shared mailbox.

Responsibility Statements

•Review voicemail, personal email inbox, shared BDC mailbox, claims mailbox for emergent issues. Provide morning BDC status update to BDC Supervisor.

•Monitor current day load plan and check requisition statuses to ensure loads are in the appropriate status. Follow up with BDC to ensure loads have been properly transmitted and store Receiving Clerk to ensure the store does not delay receipt. Process rebills for BDC Transportation Specialist as necessary.

•Resolve all PO Direct “Flag Flips to ensure BDC can receive landed PO’s.

•Bi-weekly visit to the BDC with BDC Supervisor.

•Handle store and BDC phone calls to resolve questions relating to product arrival dates, special order sales inquiries, claims, emergent inquiries, etc.

•Research status updates for Pro orders, process service channel request for maintenance inquiries and conduct exception reporting.

•Send daily reports to 3PL BDC Operations Team. Resolve inbound receiving discrepancies by partnering with 3PL BDC Operations Team. Email Exception Reporting to 3PL BDC Operations Team, Stores, and BDC Support Supervisor.

•Create PAR Billing Report from Document Direct and research receiving discrepancies with 3PL from previous fiscal week. Monitor idle and stranded demand and/or requisitions, resolve as necessary.

•Review and process the scratch and dent units from the scratch and dent/salvage log sent from the 3PL BDC Operations team. Coordinate the master BOL and schedule pick-up with the reverse logistics team.

•Coordinate inbound Appliance damage RA pick-ups with vendors.

•Create and email Store Claims Report to 3PL BDC Operations Team, BDC Supervisor, and BDC Operations Manager. Research claims with 3PL BDC Inventory Team and Stores. Process store claim adjustments in DCIAM as necessary. Report store claim research to 3PL BDC GM, Ops Manager, and Inventory Control team.

•Provide update to BDC Supervisor in monthly BDC Action Plan meeting.

•Add and update any new items stored in the BDC and remove dropped items in the respective system tools.

•Assist the BDC Supervisor with annual physical inventory item research and reconciliation.

What you Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

•4 years’ as a data analyst, operations support, or clerical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree

•3 years’ experience Supply Chain; Leadership experience

Pay Range for CA, CO, HI, NJ, NY, WA: $16.42 - $27.37 per hour
