Insight Global Lead Histology Technician in Winfield, Illinois
Job Description
- Perform various tests, lab processing, staining, preparation of slides, special histological stains
- Track supplies and expenses, provide documents and correspondence for reports
- Maintain equipment and prepare for lab use
- Dispose chemicals
- Prepare, clean and maintain instruments
- Be able to 'command the ship' and keep everyone on track throughout the evening
- Able to answer questions from more junior techs

Skills and Requirements
- At least an associates in some type of life sciences
- 3+ years experience
- Previous experience in molecular laboratories
- ASCP (HTL or HT) certification -- please bring up if they do not have a cert! - Bachelors in Science
- Experience cutting kidneys, eyes, doing immunofluorescence, IHC, muscle or EM (Electron Microscopy) null
