WM Senior Financial Analyst in Windsor, Connecticut

I. Job Summary
This role leverages advanced financial principles to analyze both financial and non-financial information, supporting the SBS finance organization. By partnering with function leaders and utilizing their business knowledge and operational acumen, this position will play a crucial role in developing the Service Offering Framework (SOF) at SBS. This framework will enhance visibility into the connections between differentiated service offerings, total cost to serve, and resulting client retention and growth performance. As a key member and strategic advisor to the SBS finance leadership team, this role is responsible for measuring the efficiency and effectiveness of all operational functions and providing quantitative assessments to support data-driven resource allocation decisions.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide data-driven insights to the business leadership team to establish optimal go-to-market strategies aligned with business growth and profitability objectives.
Prepares, analyzes and interprets complex financial and non-financial information and recommends improvement opportunities to local, middle and senior management.
Participates, facilitates and interprets for senior management operating results that include but are not limited to budget goals, cost reduction efforts, corporate initiatives and other identified opportunities for improvement.
Contributes significantly to key project development, planning and implementation.
Develops, manages and/or participates in action plans to facilitate the implementation and monitoring of operating directives.
Directs, manages and conducts special and ad hoc information requests. Reports results of findings to market areas, groups and corporate offices.
Facilitates communication and understanding between the field finance and operations functions and corporate finance.
As requested, may participate in conducting major bid and project reviews, including directing pro forma preparation and financial sensitivity analysis.

IV. Qualifications

A. Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree (accredited) in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or a similar area of study, or equivalent experience (required).
Experience: Five (5) years previous experience (in addition to education requirement).
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
None required.
CPA, CMA, CFA (preferred)
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
Proficiency in financial statement analysis and economic evaluation.
Demonstrated ability to connect and partner cross-functionally and translate complex matters into simple data and stories.
Experience managing complex projects with diverse stakeholder groups.
Ability to perform well under pressure and in a high-volume and changing environment.
Organizational agility knows how to get things done through formal channels and informal networks, with entrepreneurial drive and the ability to work in a dynamic environment with minimal hierarchy.
Must be authorized to work in the US.

Normal setting for this job is: office setting/hybrid in Windsor, CT.
The expected base pay range for this hybrid position is $119,000 - 176,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for annual incentive pay.
