Job Title: Milling Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Milling Machinist for a leading aerospace manufacturer. This role involves providing mechanical solutions including design, development, manufacture, and support of highly engineered mechanical actuation and components for fixed wing and rotary commercial and military aircraft and military systems. This is a 2nd shift position and requires experienced machinists, not operators.
Responsibilities
Perform full SET UPS of CNC machines, 3-4 set ups per day.
Operate milling and turning machines to produce parts.
Operate a minimum of 2 machines at once.
Essential Skills
At least 3-5 years of experience performing full machine set ups.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience running lathe or milling machines.
Aerospace industry experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic knowledge of G and M codes.
Ability to edit programs as needed.
Familiarity with Okuma and Fanuc controls.

Work Environment
The work environment is a normal machine shop that is loud and noisy but super clean. Most machines are cooled with water, not oil. There will be some overtime available (average 10 hours). Our facility is focused on maintaining a clean and efficient workspace to ensure high-quality production and employee safety.

This is a Permanent position based out of Windsor, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $64480.00/yr.
