Wastequip Product Specialist in Winamac, Indiana
Description
Hourly Range: $25.00 - $28.00 based on experience II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Answers calls and e-mails containing technical questions, product lead times, freight rates and other shipping questions.
Sends outgoing calls and e-mails concerning questions on received purchase orders, relay product lead time changes, ready to ship orders, and follow-up to questions.
Use internal quote tool to quote equipment.
Coordinate quotes, lead times, and dealer requests with production and engineering.
Deal with National Accounts in the following manner: Confirm hoist specifications and options with field locations, confirm pricing and communicate any issues with the corporate office, send notification to dealer of record for deliveries into their territories, complete paperwork for dealer commission, and follow-up calls to dealer on warranty paperwork not turned in.
Work with large accounts.by providing current inventory and mounting schedule on weekly basis, confirm pricing on PO’s, provide current quotes when requested.
Maintains files of active orders and post activity such as change notices, scheduling changes, partial shipments, and credit changes.
Prepares paperwork (original purchase order, copies of invoice, and return goods memo) to be scanned into system for each order
Attend daily meetings with team to review previous and upcoming business
Attend weekly status meeting with production and engineering
Performs other related duties as assigned.
III. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
A. Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED
One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
Knowledge of or ability to learn all operating systems used: Sales Force, D365, Web Docs
Knowledge and ability of operating Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Organizational skills
Previous background should include knowledge of parts and nomenclature as well as demonstrated ability to deal with customers.
Must be able to travel for customer visits (5%-10%)
