Description
We are offering a contract for a Purchasing Support Specialist role in Wilsonville, Oregon. The job function primarily involves clerical and administrative support for Facilities & Purchasing Teams. You will be an integral part of our client's team, ensuring the smooth operation of the purchasing processes.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the organization and filing of relevant documents
• Handle inbound phone calls professionally
• Generate purchase orders in the system and carry out basic account reconciliation tasks
• Review bid packages meticulously and prepare the necessary paperwork for further scrutiny
• Leverage your skills in Excel and spreadsheets for efficient data management
• Employ your customer service approach to manage customer inquiries and interactions
• Use your critical thinking skills to know when to ask follow-up questions
• Ensure accurate data entry with a focus on speed and grammar
• Maintain accurate records of customer credit applications.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Data Entry - Numeric is mandatory for this role. Candidates must be able to quickly and accurately input data into accounting systems.
• Experience with Purchase Orders is essential. Candidates should be familiar with creating, tracking, and managing purchase orders.
• Ability to perform Account Reconciliation is required. Candidates should have experience reconciling invoices and statements, as well as identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
