Position: Teaching & Learning Specialist (Teaching & Learning Team/TLT)
2 positions
Location: Southern Ohio Educational Service Center
General Description:
Provide consultative services to teachers and administrators regarding curriculum implementation and professional development in the following teaching and learning areas: intensive and sustained support for improvement; standards-based education; strategies for effective instruction; staff development; leadership and facilitation in school improvement initiatives, statewide legislative and Ohio Department of Education & Workforce initiatives.
Interested candidates should possess a strong background in curriculum, educator development, use of data to improve instruction, and current educational initiatives.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Education.
Preferred: Supervisor's certificate/Administrative Specialist license (curriculum, instruction, and professional development) or Administrative license.
Five (5) or more years of teaching experience.
Must pass a criminal background check.
Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
