Production Supervisor

Overview:

Adecco is assisting a client in Wilmington, NC to find a dedicated Production Supervisor. In this role, you will be a key player in overseeing the operation of our production lines, ensuring product integrity and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Reports To: Production Manager or General Manager

Education: High school diploma or equivalent, along with relevant work experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and oversee the operation of one or more production lines.

  • Monitor production line activities during start-up and assign personnel to specific workstations.

  • Train new employees on safety procedures and job responsibilities.

  • Foster positive relationships with production staff to enhance team morale and collaboration.

  • Conduct spot checks on loads to verify proper loading practices.

  • Perform minor machine adjustments and maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.

  • Ensure adherence to housekeeping standards to maintain a clean and safe production environment.

  • Complete production and inventory reports, as well as receiving reports for incoming supplies and materials.

  • Implement corrective actions on the production line when necessary and conduct risk analyses on processes.

  • Ensure proper maintenance of customer-owned property.

  • Maintain compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) as per ISO-9001:2015 standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical, technical, and supervisory skills, gained through hands-on experience or relevant training.

  • Ability to effectively direct and train employees while overseeing their work activities.

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
