Forklift Operator
Adecco is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator in Wilmington, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This is a first shift opportunity that pays $15 an hour.
Essential Functions: - Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise and materials.
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift, such as inspecting brakes, oil levels, and fuel, and reporting any defects or malfunctions to the supervisor.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including removing debris and hazardous materials from the forklift's path.
Always adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid forklift operator certification/license.
Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for forklift operation.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and operate a forklift in tight spaces.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
