JPMorgan Chase Strategic Analytics in Wilmington, Delaware

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Provide acquisition risk monitoring and analytics for the New to Credit portfolio. Monitor and maintain the New to Credit underwriting and line assignment strategy. Analyze consumer card population to find opportunities to expand the underwriting strategy for New to Credit customers. Analyze alternative data sources to build deeper underwriting strategy for New to Credit customers using different modeling techniques. Drive end-to- end deployment of New to Credit Strategy changes by engaging with Risk Decision and Execution teams. Ensure engagement with key stakeholders including internal Card Business Units, as well as the Finance, Risk Execution, Legal and Compliance teams. Facilitate communications and relationships with cross-impacted strategies and stakeholders to ensure business needs are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Financial Risk Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study plus Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Strategic Analytics, Risk Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Financial Risk Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Strategic Analytics, Risk Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, UNIX, Tableau, and VBA; performing statistical analysis; performing data analytics for reporting and performance management of credit risk strategies; Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; analyzing risk to identify and optimize credit strategies; creating user stories to deliver strategy changes; data visualization including creating relevant tables, graphs and flow charts.

Job Location: 201 N Walnut Street, Wilmington, Delaware, 19801. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
