TITLE: Software Engineer II
JOB LOCATION: Wilmington Plaza, 301 West 11th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.
DESCRIPTION : Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code; ensure best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms; provide designs, specify information systems solutions and technical direction in the development of new or existing applications to solve basic to complex problems or enhancements; serve as a principal application designer for major modifications effectively using analytical and technical skills and available technology and tools in the evaluation of client requirements and processes; develop software and unit tests using Java, SpringBoot, Spring Framework, JSP, Angular, Microsoft Azure and enterprise content management system/tools (Azure CMS or Azure BLOB storage); gather and define tech requirements and designs; complete and oversee systems analysis, design and development; execute technical components of project plans; participate with other Development, Operations and Technology staff in overall systems development from technical analysis to user acceptance testing; prepare and review test data and execute detailed test plans; complete any required debugging; evaluate and understand complex interrelationships and effects among programs, interfacing applications and platforms; and provide highly analytical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies to assist business units in meeting strategic objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field and Five (5) years of experience using Java, SpringBoot, Spring Framework, JSP, Angular, Microsoft Azure, and enterprise content management system/tools (Azure CMS or Azure BLOB storage).
