<p><strong>Brief Overview of Position</strong></p>
<p>Come join the team that is reinventing home! Wayfair is currently hiring for our very first physical retail store location! </p>
<p>Wayfair is looking for motivated individuals to join our sales/customer focus team who are passionate and relentlessly focused on boosting sales, building personalized connections, and creating an environment that invites and inspires our customers.</p>
<p><strong>Location</strong><strong><br></strong>Wilmette, IL</p>
<p><strong>Essential Functions</strong><strong><br></strong>• Drive sales in store by building personalized connections with customers through thoughtful questions to understand their needs..<br>• Provide an authentic, friendly customer experience that exemplifies our Wayfair commitment to relentless customer focus.<br>• Become an expert of Wayfair products and services to help guide customers thru their questions & provide product options both in store and online thru our endless aisle and store application.<br>• Demonstrate confidence in closing the sale and educating customers on various ways to purchase including through POS, Online, and our app.<br>• Assist customers on the sales floor. <br>• Collaborate effectively in all operational aspects of the store including but not limited to: processing new products, floor sets, replenishment, backfill substitutions, and general upkeep of the store.<br>• Exemplify a positive and professional attitude on a daily basis with customers and team members.<br>• Bring a willingness to share innovative ideas and solutions to continuously improve team operations.<br>• Engage in a high energy, focused and dynamic work environment where there can be rapid changes in products, promotions, and operations.</p>
<p><strong>Experience Qualifications</strong><strong><br></strong>• Less than 1 year - Retail sales experience (Design related environment and specialty sales experience a plus)<br>• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays</p>
<p><strong>Skills and Abilities</strong><strong><br></strong>• Passion for great customer service and a drive to exceed sales targets. (Medium proficiency)<br>• Strong communication and relationship management skills. (Medium proficiency)<br>• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment, with the ability to adapt and grow. (Medium proficiency)<br>• Demonstrated ability to work in a team sales environment. (Medium proficiency)<br>• Comfortable with technology including mobile applications, google tools, and portable devices.(Medium proficiency)<br>• Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. </p>
