Personnel Management Assistance Center (PMAC) Senior Specialist Fort Belvoir Army Base, VA Job Summary: Contractor personnel shall provide administrative assistance to Fort Belvoir Army Base and Gemini Tech Services by using basic and advanced program functions to perform operations which include responsibility for all administrative functions under this effort. This position requires familiarity with the terminology of the office unit. The Personnel Management Assistance Center (PMAC) Senior Specialist selects appropriate methods from a wide variety of procedures or makes simple adaptations and interpretations of a limited number of substantive guides and manuals. The administrative steps often vary in type or sequence, depending on the task. Recognized problems are referred to others. Essential Functions: Perform assigned tasks from the Lead Administrator. Perform duties of the Lead Administrator, when required. Provide administrative support during assigned workday (8 hours of work) by the Lead Administrator. Manage administrative records. Perform administrative actions in support of Army Force Management School (AFMS) students. Perform mail operations. Prepare and manage correspondence in accordance with Army regulations. Conduct AFMS student In-processing and Out-processing. Prepare Reports and briefings. Support the AFMS staff. o Print Coursebooks o Set up classroom prior to course start date o Restock supplies o In-process students on first day and issue badges and collect badges o Print, package, and mail out How the Army Runs Training Course books for virtual class. o Provide administrative support Course Directors. o Generate 4187 for students dropping course Coordinate and submit Facilities Support Work Orders. Submit DA4283 when needed. Coordinate safety inspections or safety installation(s) with Safety Officer or Fire Marshall. Maintain Facilities Support Work Order Logbook. Coordinate with Pest Control Management. Attend Tenant meetings with MDA and IG. Perform visual inspections in AO of any items which might require repairs. Address any facility projects the government requires. Submit daily Perstat. Required Experience: Two plus (2+) years serving in a PMAC (or equivalent personnel administration organization) within a Department of Defense organization. One (1 year serving in a Supervisor role.

Preferred Experience: Three plus (3+) years serving in a PMAC (or equivalent personnel administration organization) with a Department of Defense organization with priority to an Army school. Two plus (2+) years serving in a Supervisor role. Ability to prioritize workload to ensure call volumes are managed logically, consistently and efficiently. Ability to organize work schedules for maximum utilization of time and resources. Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to pass a Tier 1 background check Must be able to undergo/pass a drug test Employment Type: Full Time Position Starting Salary Range: $25.27/hour Health and Wellness Contribution Rate: $2.25/hour *This position is not subject to SCA guidelines. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The ability to lift 10 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching. Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
