Industrial Maintenance Technician | First Shift
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, chemical systems, and industrial piping. This role also involves performing preventative maintenance, minor electrical repairs, and adhering to company safety policies.
Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, chemical systems, and industrial piping.
Perform documentation for maintenance performed on equipment.
Conduct preventative maintenance including filter changes, belt replacements, greasing of fittings, checking oil & lubrication levels, thermocouple checks, and furnace systems.
Maintain forklifts and material handling equipment.
Maintain furnaces and ovens.
Utilize blueprints and schematics to complete repairs.
Perform minor electrical repairs with 480V electrical troubleshooting.
Move material to stock areas using material handling equipment as needed.
Adhere to company safety policies and maintenance regulations.
Follow 5S programs as required.
Apply knowledge of lock out tag out procedures.
Essential Skills
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Ability to read blueprints, manufacturer instructions, and service manuals for repairs.
Experience working with 480V industrial electrical systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems.
Understanding of preventative maintenance procedures.
Knowledge of lock out tag out procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with welding, fabrication, and PLC troubleshooting.
Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting and 3-phase systems.
Ability to work in a non-temperature controlled environment.
Willingness to work overtime on Saturdays.

Work Environment
This is a heat treat work environment with heavy industrial conditions. The facility remains warm year-round due to the heat treating processes. The shift is 1st - 6:30 AM to 3 PM, with overtime typically required on Saturdays, averaging 46-48 hours per week. Uniforms are provided, and the company promotes safety and comfort by allowing frequent breaks and providing refreshments on hotter days.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $59800.00 - $59800.00/yr.
