Just for Kids is a community centered non-profit organization that offers before and after school programming in the Amherst, Cheektowaga Central, Cheektowaga Sloan, Grand Island, Sweet Home, and Williamsville Central School Districts. We also offer programming at The Park School of Buffalo, Saints Peter and Paul School in Hamburg, St. Benedict School in Amherst, St. Mary's School in Swormville, Nardin Academy in Buffalo, and Aurora Waldorf School in West Falls.
Position Summary
A Field Supervisor is responsible for supervising and providing administrative support to Just for Kids On-Site Management, ensuring well-organized programs with high staff morale and high student/parent satisfaction and representing the non-profit organization in a positive light to the public and internal staff.
Overseeing school-age programs during school days, spending approximately 40% of work week on site and the remainder at the Administrative Office.
Coaching and supporting Program Managers to ensure compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.
Providing monthly reports on inspection results.
Consulting with Program Managers and site-based staff regularly.
Managing staff schedules and approving time off requests.
Fulfilling on-site duties in the absence of Program Manager.
As needed, temporarily act in ratio at a program location.
Conduct performance appraisals of Site Management.
Reviewing and approving payroll.
Handling parent communication.
Support planning and preparation for break camps and summer camps and running one location during each camp.
Schedule
Full time, Monday through Friday.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Qualification for "Director" position with NYS OCFS (Office of Child and Family Services) preferred.
Two or more years of experience as a named Director within a NYSOCFS licensed program preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Experience with OCFS regulations as it pertains to school age programs.
Salary Description
$20.00 - $23.00 / Hour
