Together, we break through – as a FP&A Analyst (STA limited, Jan-Oct 2025)

The FP&A Analyst Germany on a short-term assignment basis is part of the International and Europe Finance and Commercial teams. As a strategic cross functional business partner, the STA FP&A Analyst will be responsible for the support on the monthly and annual operating plans and forecasting processes, analyzes performance trends, makes recommendations and assures timely and accurate input. Further responsibility area is month end close, reporting incl. continuous enhancement and support on financial policies, procedures and internal controls.

Make your mark:

  • Provides financial support to the German Organization in supporting strategic decisions and objectives

  • Provides insightful analysis of current business trends and financial metrics along with recommendations for opportunities or risk mitigation for consideration by the Country Manager and Finance Director

  • Supports the annual plan and forecast processes, ensuring that deliverables are reasonably predictive of future results. Keeps financial and operational management appraised of trends relative to plan and forecast

  • Responsible for data integrity and system accuracy during planning processes

  • Drives analysis of P&L to meet target and maximize ROI as well as support with new products launches and/or initiatives

  • Supports ad hoc management & stakeholder requests for financial information

  • Drives continued integration of financial planning with Supply Chain, Financial Reporting & Accounting, Commercial Operations and Marketing teams

  • Develops and executes continual process improvements to allow for routine analytical reviews of operational performance, leveraging business analytical resources and tool

Qualifications

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent; business or accounting degree preferred

  • A few years of diverse FP&A and/or accounting experience supporting a Global/ International commercial organization.

  • Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to deal effectively with all levels of commercial and financial management and work in a matrix international organization

  • Bring a passion for business and business partnering: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills and ability to build a strong network across the organization and desire to communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with others

  • Ability to balance broad strategic objectives with the ability to execute day-to-day tactical operations

  • Ability to work flexibly and under time pressure

  • Ability to recognize key issues and effectively communicate those to management

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (written/verbal English & German)

  • Strong Knowledge in commonly used finance tools
