Job Title: CNC Master Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Master Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will travel to customer sites to provide installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair support on various equipment. You will also offer comprehensive training to customers both in-person and remotely. The successful candidate will utilize technical documents and resources to research machine issues, ensure proper documentation, and provide detailed feedback to management, distributors, and customers.

Hard Skills

  • Experience in mechanical and electrical repair, maintenance, and programming within the Machine tool industry

  • Technical degree or validated industry experience

  • Proficiency with FANUC, Heidenheim, Linear Lasers, and Laser Tracker

  • Experience in large CNC 5 axis gantries

Soft Skills

  • Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wichita, Kansas.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a showroom facility for CNC machines, located in a brand new building near Intrust Bank Arena in the back portion of Spaghettis Warehouse building downtown. The role involves consistent travel, with customer sites across the United States and some international travel for training. The work location is a mix of on-site and on-road, with typical work hours from 7am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday, and frequent travel 50-75% of the time.
