Chubb AVP Auto and Special Projects Specialist in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey

JOB DESCRIPTION

Chubb Personal Risk Services, PRS, is seeking an AVP Auto and Special Projects Specialist to assist the Auto and Assistant Auto Product Leaders in all aspects of running the Auto line of business. The successful candidate will report to the SVP Auto Product Leader and assist in setting Collector and miscellaneous vehicle priorities, manage the Auto Specialist Community, and lead special projects which will primarily be auto related but also encompass other lines of business. Additionally, successful individuals will participate in developing and achieving financial metrics related to the Auto Lines of Business; developing and communicating the Auto line of business product strategy to ensure PRS' Auto offering is aligned with Chubb's personal lines target market and value-added strategy; developing and managing Auto pricing and underwriting and coverages while coordinating and prioritizing the implementation of resultant changes with other PRS functional departments; developing the annual Auto rate plan based upon the PRS Actuarial Pricing Study rate indications; and setting Auto priorities within the PRS systems.

Key Responsibilities
Accountable for driving profitable growth of the Auto line of business
Maintain consistent awareness of loss frequency and severity trends and their underlying causes while informing necessary changes to pricing and coverage to meet loss ratio targets
Work with the Auto Product Leader, Field Product Leader, Field teams, and Digital Distribution Lead to develop strategies to increase submission flow of profitable Auto new business
Monitor industry pricing, underwriting and contract changes and internally developed competitive analysis to educate the organization and revise programs as warranted
Advance underwriting and pricing accuracy by identifying and implementing reliable sources of verified third party data
Develop, lead, and monitor various projects to achieve goals and targets
Engage with internal and external business partners to drive line of business awareness and facilitate on-site and virtual training on the PRS Auto Value proposition, rating and coverage enhancements, and related topics
Assist in development of regular "state of the class" communications to senior Home Office and Field leadership
Collaborate in a team environment with Field Product Management, Sales, Underwriting, Risk Consulting, Operations, IT, Claims, General Counsel, and Actuary to achieve business plans
Work with Marketing to develop new marketing materials and resource tools
Represent Chubb on various industry committees and conferences
Develop and implement underwriting models/guidelines which support the division's target market strategy and enable UW to identify risks which cannot be adequately pricedor have catastrophe concerns
Engage with internal and external business partners to drive line of business awareness and facilitate on-site and virtual training on the PRS Auto Value proposition, rating and coverage enhancements, and related topics
