TEKsystems OSP Directional Bore Operator in White Marsh, Maryland

Description:

Our client is one of the largest Telecommunication Vendors in the DMV and has a large presence across the East Coast. They provide full turnkey solutions for both wireless and wireline sectors. Their wireless sectors are split up into a few groups, but ultimately support the major carriers.

This position will be supporting the OSP team for both wireline and wireless sectors. The operator will be working with a 4-person crew to perform underground telecommunications/utility excavation, conduit/cable placement, and ground restoration. The crew is made up of a foreman, operator, and two laborers. They need to have solid experience working/maintaining on a Directional Bore. Our client uses Vermeer brand. Must feel confident maneuvering around underground placements. They also need to be able to provide direction to get the rest of the job done to the Helper and Tech II.

Top Skills Details:

  1. 5+ Years of OSP Directional Bore Operator underground construction experience.

  2. Experience performing mechanical excavation, trenching, or duct bank installation.

  3. Work ethic and reliability, quality of work.

    *Utilize Vermeer and Takeuchi.

    *Telecommunications background preferred but also open to utility, water, etc. industries.
