JOB DUTIES: 1. Perform technical analysis of infrastructure, tools and technology.2. On behalf of a global financial services organization, support the development and maintenance of the Blackbird Application platform, which is the strategic low latency Equity Order Management System.3. Work closely with product and business analysts and the technology teams for requirement gathering and architectural decisions to deliver functional and technical regulatory enhancements to the product.4. Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation and provide user and operational support on applications to business users.5. Work closely with the quality assurance team and user acceptance testing team to improve the code quality developed by team members.6. Promote and apply best practices to meet all application deliveries.7. Optimize application code to improve performance8. Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.9. May Telecommute. REQUIREMENTS:Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
