Responsibilities
The person filling this role is expected to have interpersonal and decision-making skills, the ability to think critically, creatively and strategically, and have a comprehensive knowledge of internal financial reporting and budgeting.
This position reports up to the Chief Financial Officer and will oversee the Company's internal financial reporting and budgeting/forecasting processes. The candidate should have hands on experience advising commercial and operational leaders in a manufacturing enterprise. The role will serve as a liaison for all internal business leaders and accounting.
It is expected that the candidate will have an understanding of the application of KPIs, order to cash, supply chain, financial budgeting and reporting, and performance tracking, with experience motivating and serving as a team leader. Experience in cost accounting, M&A due diligence and G/L accounting are all big pluses.
This position is more of an analyst type position that will not have a function to change things. You will need to have experience in manufacturing and international experience is also required since they deal with many international projects. Ideally they would like someone to be in the chemical industry but this is not necessary to be considered.
