Insight Global Senior Benefits Analyst in Westlake Village, California

Job Description

Drive Client's benefits function by performing extensive plan analysis, design, and modeling for all health and welfare benefits plans.

Manage compliance-related activities, including required audits and IRS filings.

Oversee vendor relationships, including brokers, insurance carriers, wellness providers, and 401k recordkeepers.

Key Duties:

Benefits Program Recommendations:

Study employee requirements and usage trends to recommend benefits programs to senior management.

Stay informed about developments in benefits offered by competing organizations.

Benefit Documentation:

Prepare and execute benefit documentation, including original and amended plan texts, agreements, and policies.

Collaborate with legal experts as needed.

Research and Recommendations:

Conduct research and analyze data related to benefit plans and practices.

Provide recommendations based on a broad understanding of benefit design concepts.

Plan Changes and Financial Analyses:

Instruct broker representatives and third-party administrators to implement approved plan changes.

Perform plan-related financial analyses and reconciliations.

Employee Inquiries and Complaints:

Handle employee benefit inquiries and complaints promptly, equitably, and courteously.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

Deep understanding of plan design concepts and issues.

Advanced skill set in Microsoft Excel.

Experience with self-insured plans preferred.

Ideally, experience in the health insurance industry or a finance background. null
