Job Title: Test Technician
Job Description
This electronics/production technician role is crucial as the final step in the assembly process of autonomous Material Handling vehicles. The team currently builds two vehicles per day, with plans to expand this capacity. A new autonomous forklift line will be added in the next few weeks. The chosen candidate must be able to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot any electrical problems that may arise. They will follow a specific checklist created by engineers to ensure everything is correct. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Read, comprehend, and red-line electrical schematics.
Use hand tools and a multimeter to troubleshoot and modify electrical wiring.
Modify and debug PLC, robot, and HMIs per customer specifications and standards.
Communicate schedules, plans, and training to other personnel.
Create and modify operator manuals, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Attend training and become certified in applicable technologies or programs.
Be a team member and contributor within the workplace, providing help outside of department scope when required.
Deliver projects that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Attend meetings and functions on time with active involvement.
Essential Skills
Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues in autonomous robots.
Proficiency in reading electrical schematics.
Experience using multimeters.
Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills.

Work in a very clean shop on the 1st shift. You can wear jeans and a t-shirt daily, though steel-toe shoes are required. The company is growing quickly and will be moving to a new location by December.
Work Environment
The role is a 1st shift position, with hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The work environment is clean, and casual attire such as jeans and t-shirts is allowed, though steel-toe shoes are mandatory.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
