Supply Chain Specialist Company: Rieke LLC Primary Location: 8200 Innovation Campus Way West, New Albany, OH 43054 USA Employment Type: Hourly | Full-Time Function: Material Control / Logistics Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Main Duties & Responsibilities The Supply Chain Specialist supports customer service and delivery activities by coordinating activities associated with shipping, receiving, storage of goods, and inventory control. The Supply Chain Specialist will focus on supply chain coordination. The Supply Chain Specialist role requires a high level of organization, time management and attention to detail to ensure that customer orders are prepared and shipped accurately and on time. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Acts as key point of contact for Customer Service for New Albany and US Dispensing Customer Accounts as assigned. Responds timely to all team member requests for information, paperwork, status updates and other information to ensure appropriate response times to customers. Ensures customer orders, color matching and ASN's, Invoices are entered in portal as required by assigned and on time. Oversees the activities of shipping, receiving, and inventory control for Rieke New Albany and US Dispensing. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPI's) throughout shipping, receiving, warehousing and inventory control. Responsible to ensure expectations consistently meet or exceed KPI's. Analyzes inventory levels, ensuring that changes in inventory are promptly and accurately recorded in the ERP system. Investigates inventory discrepancies to get the source of the issue and resolve it. Develops and implements plans for improving efficiency in operations such as shipping, inventory management and material handling. Coordinates all aspects of the shipping process to include selecting carriers, arranging pick up times, tracking shipments, and ensuring delivery is made on time. Ensures all shipments are handled in accordance with company policies and procedures to reduce risk of damage or theft. Coordinates with other departments to schedule deliveries and pickups in accordance with customer requirements. Analyzes data from shipping operations to identify opportunities for improvement. Responsible for ensuring cycle counts are completed in accordance with company policy. Maintains a "visual workplace" - using production boards, equipment status boards, etc. Immediately addresses and/or resolves off-schedule situations, lost time and performance targets that are off-standard. Communicates opportunities for improvement to Engineering and/or Management. Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, distribution or warehouse environment. Proven experience in a team environment, with a high level of urgency. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills (ERP, Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel) Lean or Six Sigma qualification is preferred
